Meet Your Therapist
Hodan Osman is a mental health therapist and Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. A guiding goal throughout her career has been removing shame from conversations about mental health and creating spaces where healing is embraced without stigma.
She has worked in community-based and women’s health settings, supporting individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, and life transitions. Hodan integrates trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally responsive approaches. Drawing on evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, she tailors her work to the unique needs of each client.
Hodan also provides faith-based counselling when desired, supporting clients in connecting their healing journey with their values and spirituality. Through her practice, Ebla Psychotherapy, she continues this commitment to helping individuals and communities heal, grow, and find strength in their journey.
